Guild of Dungeoneering
“Recruit adventurers to explore dungeons for the glory of your Guild. Build the dungeon room by room, fill it with monsters, traps and treasure .. and hope your dungeoneers have what it takes to return victorious!”
A dungeon exploration game where you don’t get to control the adventurer. Instead you lay out the dungeon one room at a time (including treasure & monsters) and he proceeds according to his AI. You want him to explore, level up, find treasures and ultimately survive – but you don’t get to directly control him.
Guild of Dungeoneering started as a small project for One Game A Month but is now being developed into a commercial game. A playable alpha is available to try out.
Game design & programming: Colm Larkin. Colm has been making games for the last 5 years and has finished a number of smaller games in the last year. This is his first commercial game & the first time he’s had the joy of not having to use his own horrible programmer art!
Art: Fred Mangan. Fred is an artist, photographer, film-maker and ad agency art director. This is his first time working on a game!
