Arnthak is a platform/adventure game that takes place in a significantly large world (the map size is approximately 20,000 x 10,000 pixels x 2 (there’s an interior and an exterior). The storyline revolves around an Archmage returning to his land after several years of magical exile, only to find that Arnthak is under subtle attack.
Arnthak combines exploration, crafting and a customisable ‘home base’ (the Archmage’s tower) to provide an experience similar to Captain Comic 2 & Below the Root.
The team for Arnthak consists of myself (@darkestkale, a 30 year old Robotics Engineer from Melbourne, Australia), Jay Bramhall (@jaytherobot, artist) & CFX (@cfxmusic, musician).
All the World is an episodic-like visual novel built on the open source engine Ren’Py. It features likable characters, interesting environments and 3D scenes. Episodic-like is a term for each chapter in the story is treated like an episode on television.
Our team consists of three people. We are all working day jobs while working on this game whenever we get the chance.
Ashen Rift follows the life of a man and his canine companion Bounder as they seek to get to the core of earths dire situation. Together as they do so they encounter strange corruptions of man within the twisted and suffocated remains of Earth.
“20 years ago some scientists and military folk got to meddlin’ in things they ought to have left alone, they called it a “rift” or some such.
Now the whole damn earth is almost entirely empty and she’s about to breathe her last breath. I don’t reckon I know exactly what’s causing all of this, but I know what I’ve seen since then and it ain’t right… Maybe it’s not too late for earth, maybe shes got some fight left in her.”
With Bounder by your side you will scrounge for whatever ammo and explosives you can find and when that fails you will grab dirt, rocks or any other found objects around you to maim and distract the beasts which wander aimlessly looking, smelling and listening for a meal.
My name is Barry Michael Collins, a 13+ year game industry freelance artist and I have been solo developing Ashen Rift part time for almost 3 months… Development halted a month ago when I found out my father had died in a tragic and very depressing manner, I am just now bouncing back from this upset and resuming development with new found burning need to make something of my life, I hope Ashen Rift can be the starting point for me to be able to continue developing the games I dream of playing.
Key of Ethios is an Action-Adventure game that takes inspiration from games like The Legend of Zelda, Okami, and The Lost Vikings. It focuses on Ellie, Gil, and Van: of a party of companions, each with their own unique abilities that allow them to traverse the world and overcome a wide array of obstacles and enemies.
The game begins with our heroes discovering a mysterious young girl resting within the ancient Wysteria- A vast forest said to be as old as the world itself. They then become the target of an organization knows as the Court, who is dead set on capturing the girl for unknown purposes.
Gameplay focuses on combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving, all of which center around controlling the party members either as a group or individually. You must utilize each heroes’ abilities in tandem with one another to defeat cunning enemies or traverse perilous obstacles.
I’m Keith Farnsworth and I’m currently going solo on developing this project. I’ve always been interested in making games, and figuring that application is the best way to learn, one day I simply decided to start. I’ve since spent the majority of my free time planning out Key of Ethios and honing my skills to their current state.

Freekstorm is a family studio of indie game developers based in Norfolk, U.K. After successfully creating a short animated film “Doctor Kvorak Destroyer of Worlds” for an international film festival three years ago, they realised that they were rather attached to the Doctor and decided to continue his adventures in a game. They have been working on Doctor Kvorak ever since, along with the help and support of their three talented kids who all play active roles in developing the game. In true indie-style, all aspects of the game are developed in-house, including characters, assets, gameplay and full audio.

After Elliot’s wife disappears, he falls sick and attempts to take his own life–only to discovers that he can’t die. Plagued by nightmares and growing weaker by the day, Elliot seeks out a local Sage, who tells him that he’s the victim of a rare curse. A demon called a Satar is slowly consuming Elliot’s vitality.
If Elliot can’t find a cure to the curse before it’s too late, he will become a Satar. His only hope is to ask for the help from one of the island’s Guardians, who have kept the Satar from taking over Urele. Elliot can’t die–but he’s still running out of time.
Animuz Games was started by me (Luis Zuno). I’ve been a web designer and developer since 1999. Before I started Elliot Quest, I made a small puzzle-platform game where you control a pink jelly creature — http://gamejolt.com/games/puzzle/slimer/12647/. But Elliot Questis the game I always wanted to make. Over the course of Elliot Quest’s development, however, several people have showed their interest in the game and offered to help out—there are a lot of Zelda 2 fans out there! Now Ansimuz games consists of collaborators from Mexico, the United States, and Canada!

“In my feverish dreams my wife appears as such a lovely creature, so far removed from this creation before me. Her cheeks, once so full of laughter, are now pale almost to the point of transparency with the skin stretched so thin over the cranium it threatens to rip any moment. Her eyes would shine like the night sky, but are now empty, watery and yellowish.
I have to cling to my conviction that she will regain her former grace and vitality, once she is brought back to life.”
This is the story about Doctor Frans von Strauss and his wife Belladonna. After the tragic loss of their newborn child doctor von Strauss becomes obsessed with the idea of using science to find a way to conquer death and create life. Meanwhile Belladonna is left to find her own way of dealing with the grief.
Take the role of a recently reanimated corpse, and unravel the mystery of Belladonna and her husband Frans, as the dead are brought back to life and the living are not to be trusted. Passion, betrayal, murder – and reanimation!
Belladonna is a mystery point-and-click adventure in classic style. Items, puzzles, and a truly scary story.
Belladonna is created by a single person; Niklas Hallin. Niklas works as a freelance game artist as part of a team called Villains for Hire. Working for clients gives food on the table, but little opportunity to create the weird ghosts and spooky madmen that occupies his mind, so in his spare time he also tries to create games by himself. He currently lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
Courier of the Crypts is a 2D puzzle-adventure-action game with a twist and dark ambient. You play a role of a young courier that undertakes simple delivery for the custodian of the crypts which soon turns out into a deadly advneture.
In the game, your magic torch is your friend. It will keep you warm in the cold crypts and safe from all the bad spirits that you will encounter in the lost dungeons. In order to complete each map, you will have to find the exit before your flame runs out. That won’t be easy though, because ancient parts of the crypts were sealed so no one could find out the forbidden secrets below. You’ll be facing vicious spiders, ancient mummies, tricky mechanisms and traps placed there for unwelcome guests like you. I hope you’re not afraid of these because there is much more lurking in the darkness of the crypts. Remember, use your torch and oil urns wisely or you may end up part of crypts.
Will you discover the darkest secrets of the crypts and finish the delivery?
Behind Emberheart Games there is a single developer from Slovenia who somehow manages to work on everything besides the sound and music (in his free time, yep). After many small personal projects, he “established” the studio with one goal, to make one awesome game – Courier of the Crypts. Grant would help me to get on steam greenlight and pay the composer for more ambiental music. Money will be well spent and I need your help to make Courier of the Crypts one great experience.
Lacuna Passage is a story-driven exploration and survival game set on Mars. The game draws inspiration from titles like “Dear Esther”, “Journey”, and “Proteus”. You play as Jessica Rainer, the only survivor of the crashed Heracles mission, investigating the disappearance of the first ever manned mission to Mars.
We (Random Seed Games) are a small group of game designers, artists, and space enthusiasts working on Lacuna Passage in our free time. Every dime spent on the project has been from our own pockets. We would love to introduce more advanced features like support for the Oculus Rift with the money from the Indie Dev Grant.
